Welcome to the 2020 QCED Conference Forum!
    Provider Forum
We hope to use this forum as an opportunity to learn what questions our attendees have about eating disorder treatment via our event sponsor facilities/practices. We know that providers and members of the general public will have questions and have created separate categories for both to engage in conversation. Finding the right treatment team for you/your client There are so many different factors that go into choosing which treatment path is the right fit. Did you know that every treatment center has a group of outreach professionals who are trained to help clients determine what supportive environment will be the most beneficial for them? And did you know that ED specialists in your area are your best first resource when assisting you in creating your treatment plan? Virtual "Meet & Greet" Since we are unable to meet in person, this forum is a good way to reach out with your questions before the event and get in contact with the ED specialists in our region. Consider this our preliminary "Meet & Greet"! Send in your questions, and we will connect you with a professional from one of our sponsor teams who can help provide some answers. Take advantage of this moment The earlier that eating disorders are addressed, the more successful the treatment outcomes. There is no wrong question when it is being asked for the purpose of better understanding how to care and treat those with eating disorders in our community. If you have a question that is too personal to be typed in our forum, please email Stephanie Burrough, Project Coordinator of Amy's Gift, at info@amysgift.com or call the Amy's Gift phone line at (309) 779-3077. A moment of thanks We are so grateful to have you here with us to create more compassion and understanding for eating disorders in our community. Thank you for playing your part in creating a world where every body belongs. Enjoy using our forum!
